Skijoring and Dogsledding in South East Iceland
In the future we will be offering skijoring trips and
dog sledding trips. Right now we have only 3 dogs, so this is not going to
happen this winter. Aron, the oldest son of Einar and Matta in Hofsnes (he
is turning 17) spent 6 months from September 2007 until March 2008 in Italy working in a dog sledding school (www.ararad.net).

The dogs we will be breeding here for our trips are Siberian Huskys. We got
our first Siberian Husky, Rökkvi (meaning Dusk) (born October 2003) in May 2006
and last June we got an German Schafer called Aragorn. He is also born in
October 2003. The 23rd November 2007 the future wife of Rökkvi was born. Her
name is Birting (meaning Dawn), and we will get her in beginning of February.
